USCG Auxiliary conducts Public Affairs at Camarillo Airshow
Saturday, August 21st &
Sunday, August 22nd, 2021
Gates Open: 9:00am
Air Demonstration: Starts at Noon
United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is excited to conduct public outreach on safe boating and recruitment at the Wings Over Camarillo Airshow. By increasing boaters’ preparedness, safety education, and awareness, we can continue to decrease risk and evolve a culture of safety. Since 1971, the year the United States Congress authorized creation of the National Recreational Boating Safety (RBS) Program, the estimated number of recreational boats has more than doubled, while the number of reported boating casualties (the sum of deaths and injuries) has decreased by more than 50%.
Come meet us, and learn more about boating safety, education classes, and America’s Waterway Watch. You can sign-up a safety class and vessel safety check. Boat America is a boating certificate class that offers an in-depth and interesting boating safety course, and provides the knowledge needed to obtain a boating certificate.
